Portland is preparing for a long awaited event: the Rose Festival. The festival takes place from March 28th to August 1st, while its beginning is considered to be one of summer's first signs. During the festival many interesting activities take place, so that everybody can enjoy the beauty of newly blossomed flowers. Entertainment, art and culture are perfectly combined during the festival, through the various events that are organised.
Even so, the highlights of the festival are: Spring Rose Show, Grand Floral Parade, Roses Parade and Rose festival art shows.
With a history of over 100 years, Portland Rose Festival has had a positive impact on hundreds of thousands of lives annually, bringing joy to both locals and tourists.
